Wim Hof is extraordinary: this Dutch is a world record holder of a new genre !

We can assert that he’s a daredevil because he has the ability to stay in really cold and unfriendly environments. Indeed, he has  bet 18 world records such as running a full marathon , barefoot in the snow above the polar circle in Finland .

He also holds a world record for  the longest ice bath. He broke his previous world record by staying immersed in ice for 1 hour, 13 minutes and 48 seconds at Guinness World Records 2008. In February 2009 Hof reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in his shorts within two days.[2]

In 2007 he attempted, but failed (due to a foot injury), to climb Mount Everest wearing nothing but shorts .

Contrary to normal people, this human being can resist the cold

using the technique of  inner fire inspired by yoga . Dr. Kenneth Kamler monitored the event to explain the effects of using the Tantric Buddhist practice of Tummo to control one's body temperature.

Wim describes his ability to withstand extreme cold temperatures as being able to "turn his own thermostat up" by using his mind.
